Tonbridge tutoring

Advice from someone who's been there !

About me

I am at St Andrews university studying physics with maths.

Before that, I was at The Judd school in Tonbridge where I did a variety of national maths challenges and a physics Olympiad.  I did chemistry, physics, maths and further maths at AS and A level - I even managed to get A's in all of them !

I am enthusiastic about science and have a strong problem solving motivation.  I quickly understand the right way to tackle problems and gain personal satisfaction from helping others to get to the right solutions.

I live local to Tonbridge so am within easy reach for Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

For 2010 I'm back from University from 29 May, just in time for that last minute guidance before the exams.

Did you know?

The sun's light is all colours of the rainbow mixed together to make white light.

The reds and yellows pass through air easily and are not scattered much.  However blue is scattered more by air molecules, so in most directions the sky looks blue.

Sunsets look red because the light has to travel through more of the atmosphere - the blue has been scattered so much that the red light is all that's left.

The lighter side

Heisenberg is out for a drive when he's stopped by a traffic cop. The cop says, "Do you know how fast you were going?" Heisenberg says, "No, but I know where I am."
